REDUCING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

Waste Wise C&D | EPA C&D Website

The two major issues impacting construction operations today is minimizing the environmental impact concerns of construction on jobsites and increasing your risk management awareness thereby minimizing your exposure to liability.

The two major byproducts generated With regard to concrete washout, we are able to provide our customers a product and service that will divert the concrete material from landfills and recycle both the concrete and washwater.

Landfill Impact Concerns

Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) is generally garbage generated by us on a daily basis at home or in the office.  Construction and Demolition Waste (C&D) is generally any waste material generated at any construction jobsite in the course of building homes or buildings.  It is estimated that nearly 30% of the tonnage of the waste stream is C&D material of which, concrete is the most abundant.

Unlike other services where more waste is generated by use of plastic, hay bales, dirt, bags or any other product, we do not create additional waste with our system.  We in fact reduce waste and recycle the source separated materials.  Many municipalities are requiring waste diversion on jobsites before final inspection or notices of completion are issued.  If needed or requested, our partners can provide you with recycling information relating to concrete washout.
