Concrete Washout Systems, Inc. Continues Aggressive Expansion And Moves Into Colorado
January 06, 2005
CWS of Colorado, a start-up company specifically formed to distribute and service the CWS, will begin servicing the greater Denver, Colorado market at the beginning of 2005. Rich Jeffrey, an Industry veteran in the waste hauling industry, will be guiding the company along with his current solid waste operations, American Transportation & Equipment Co. and Big Horn Waste Services, Inc. “We have spent the last couple of months exposing and educating the regional construction and regulatory professionals on the serious problems concrete washout poses to the environment and the solution we will be providing them. They are very receptive and are elated to finally have a solution to a problem that has been plaguing the industry for years,” stated Rich Jeffrey, President of CWS Colorado, LLC. “Although our initial focus will be within the greater Denver market, we have high expectations for growth with the tremendous reception we have received and will meet the needs of the industry as demand increases” added Mr. Jeffrey. “We are very excited to have and industry veteran with Rich’s accomplishments and experience come aboard and realize the value and opportunity in our business model,” stated Kevin Mickelson, Vice President of Concrete Washout Systems, Inc. “CWSCO has opened the door for us in the Central United States by providing a growing construction market an innovative product and service. With the tremendous interest developing due to state and regional stormwater and waste diversion regulations, CWSO will be providing a much needed risk management solution,” added Mr. Mickelson. CWS is currently seeking licensed partners in numerous markets across the nation. Each partner will own and operate a Concrete Washout Systems business in their designated region, where they will be responsible for all aspects of the business. The patent pending CWS container is a portable, self-contained and watertight bin that controls, captures and contains concrete washout material and wastewater. It allows trade personnel to easily washout concrete trucks, pumps and equipment on site and facilitates easy off site recycling of the same concrete materials and wastewater, while protecting the storm drain system from potential illegal discharges. The off site recycling component creates an even more environmentally sound application as concrete material is diverted away from landfills and recycled. This system replaces other outdated washout BMP’s, which are costly, unsightly and damaging to the environment since their containment value diminishes, due to inherently faulty material, over use and lack of maintenance.
